The designer guy
Piotr Gajos is a highly passionate, creative and versatile graphical designer with eight years of experience in print design, five years in graphical user interface and web design and two years in team leadership and project development and management. Especially skilled at creating unusual, attractive designs which attempt to connect art and marketing aspects. Advocate of user — centric design, takes great care of user experience by careful research and testing. Focused on both internal and team discipline. Excellent observation and discussion skills, able to work in a team or alone. Very open to critique. Keen to learn and improve his skills, exceeding any given boundaries.
Piotr has been honing his graphical user interface design skills for eleven years now. What was once a hobby, quite suprisingly and suddenly turned into a professional occupation over three years ago.
Since then Piotr has created many sophisticated visuals, including those for iClip lite 2 widget, winner of a 2006 Apple Design Award.
When he's not pushing pixels, he crafts somewhat tangled and vintage print designs, gathering inspiration from environment, classic arts and music.
The ‘person’
Piotr Gajos is a twenty-eight year old so-called graphic designer bi-located in Wroclaw, Poland and Bangalore, India.
When he has a chance, he enjoys listening to brutal and unusual music, watching painful English TV shows such as Extras or The Office and reading books by Japanese authors. Occasional Quake 3 business session isn't out of question as well.
